What does a scalp diagnosis tell you?
A cosmetic scalp diagnosis uses a microscope camera to assess five things: oil level, flakes, redness, follicle openings and hair density. Together they show your scalp type and whether you need cleansing, calming, hydration or hair loss care. At Green Scalp Care in Myeongdong it is included with every treatment. It is not a medical diagnosis.

What each finding means
Shiny, yellowish buildup → excess oil; you need cleansing. Small white flakes on a dull surface → dryness; you need hydration. Larger sticky flakes → oily dandruff. Pink or red skin around follicles → irritation; you need calming care. Fewer or finer hairs per follicle → possible thinning.
We explain each of these on screen and recommend care to match — from oily scalp care to a prevention program. If we see something that needs medical attention, we tell you plainly and suggest a dermatologist.
